Advice on Foot Care

Advice on Foot Care is a Northcoast Footcare Blog dedicated to foot care and foot health. Northcoast Footcare was developed by Christine Dobrowolski, DPM and the Redwood Podiatry Group based in Eureka, California. After sending hundreds of patients to local drug stores for medical products, Dr. Dobrowolski began to realize that the drug stores did not carry the best products for her patients. She decided to open a small store for her patients next to the Redwood Podiatry Group office. The store gradually became very popular with patients and this popularity led to Northcoastfootcare.com.

Dr. Dobrowolski received her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis. She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed two years of residency training in foot and ankle surgery and also has a Masters of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. She has co-authored articles in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and The Lower Extremity. She co-authored a chapter in Mcglamry’s Comprehensive Textbook Of Foot And Ankle Surgery and is the author of Those Aching Feet: Your Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Foot Problems.

Christine has moved NorthcoastFootcare.com to South Lake Tahoe where she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, trail running, climbing and kayaking and includes many blog entries on sports related foot problems.
