Pedicure Do’s & Don’ts
In a survey of women ages 18-49 by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), close to 50% stated that they had received a professional pedicure by the age of 25. Most podiatrists agree that pampering your feet is good for foot hygiene, but improper foot care or use of pedicure tools can lead to the development of bacterial, fungal and viral infections.
