It's a pity you are in Tahoe otherwise I would have tried to visit you. The pain is towards the top of my foot. It only starts hurting when I start kicking the ball. I haven't had any problems with running or riding. After the kicking the pain will reside in about 5 minutes but will come back after kicking. Hyper extension sounds about right.
Not sure what I should do or who I should see.
